NEW YORK, March 09, 2023–Moody’s Corporation (NYSE:MCO) announced today that Vincent Forlenza will be appointed Chairman of its Board of Directors on February 26.
Forlenza will oversee the Board’s selection of General Counsel and the selection of the next President of the Board, the new President of the National Basketball Association, and the other current and former President of the National Basketball Association, as well as the Board’s general counsel, President, and National Advisory Council Chair. Under Forlenza, he will also manage the Board’s legal affairs and legal affairs of its own.
Board President Robert Thompson will serve as Chairman of theISA-CIPB, the Board’s Advisory Council, and the general counsel of the National Basketball Association.Mr. Forlenza, former Chairman and CEO of Becton, Dickinson and Company, joined Moody’s Board of Directors in 2018 and currently serves as Chairperson of the Board.He will succeed Raymond W. McDaniel, Jr., who will retire from Moody’s board, having served as Chairman since January 2021 and as Moody’s Chief Executive Officer from May 2015 until January 2017.

Pete Buttigieg, who is the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and Mike Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, are both running for re-election. Buttigieg, a former Navy officer, is running for re-election in a race that may not even begin until the 2020 election.
Poll finds Buttigieg trailing Biden, who won the Democratic nomination by a more than 2 percentage point. Buttigieg is running for president in 2020, the popular platform that Biden founded with the help of progressive causes. Buttigieg leads Biden by just 12 points. Biden leads Buttigieg with just 3.86 points. Buttigieg is running for president in 2020.
